Al Barrionuevo draws the Authority (and dozens of others)

We all love awesome crowd shots. Judging by your reaction to our WildCats
#19 sneak peek from Tim Seeley, so do you.

You know who else can draw the hell out of a WildStorm group shot? Al Barrionuevo. I mean, look at this - there’s what, 50 characters in there? More? And have I mentioned this guy’ll be drawing the Authority ongoing? (I have, but I like to rub it in.)

    That’s lovely. Really looking forward to seeing more of Al’s artwork in Authority. Also, I love this trend for big widescreen pages and wrap covers with huge casts of characters that’s going on.

    I see we are in excellent hands with Al Barrionuevo, I love the inclusion of so many of the obscure WSU characters. Shows a tremendous amount dedication to the craft of making good comics.

    And the Wetworks gang is finally back- drawn and coloured SUPERBLY. I feel like it’s my birthday! I’m speechless….I think I’m in love :D

    Tim Seeley really nailed the golden boys and girls…and ghastly Grail, Red, Ab-Death, Mary… The rest of the characters came out great, but his Wetworks are simply flawless. I can’t wait to see a larger picture.

    There is oh so much more in store! I can’t wait. I have been having a blast with all this…keeping track of everyone is a bit o’work, but fun work! And this is just these guys getting warmed up. You should see all the issues after this where they’re hitting their stride and getting comfortable with all the characters!

    I know! If I stop posting the week it comes out, feel free to assume that my head has exploded.

    For health reasons, I recommend that WS eases us into this issue, by posting more (and larger) previews each week. ;)

    Wallpapers would be nice.
